Jensen's Birthday

Jensen turned three back on the 28th of July. We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday. We hung out at home all morning and when Troy got home he got to open his presents. We got him a bigger bike, Lightning McQueen stuff, a Monster Truck, clothes and shoes. All he wanted for his birthday was Lighting McQueen. I wanted to do something fun for his birthday but with a brand new baby I didn't feel up to planning a birthday party and having a bunch of people over. I let him choose between dinner at the park or the splash pad and he chose the splash pad. We picked up pizza, cake and ice cream and spent the afternoon at the splash pad with Britt's family and Maegen and Jed.

Jensen is seriously fun. I LOVE having a boy and he is ALL boy. Sometimes too much:)

-Loves to be outside and escapes out the front door whenever possible.
-Loves otter pops. He eats WAY too many everyday.
-Loves to ask questions. His favorite lately is "Where did you get this?" Wants to know this about everything. On his birthday he would ask after every present "Is this mine?" Over and over. I think he was shocked that it was finally his birthday.
-He is a super good eater. The problem is getting him to sit down long enough to eat.
-Loves super hero's. He was super excited when Grandma Z sent him home with a Superman cape a few weeks ago.
-He is very adamant about what he is going to wear everyday. Way more than the girls are. He likes to wear all of his favorite shirts in one day.
-Baths at least twice a day.
-LOVES his dad. I am not cool in his eyes at all.
-Enjoys fighting with Reese.
-Loves his baby sister and is so great with her.
-Most of the time he is such a good boy. He has been a little stinker lately and I don't know if it a reaction to having a new baby or being three.
-Pretty funny and entertaining.
-Great sleeper. He is still taking a nap. He usually goes to bed easily at night after Troy reads "The Skeleton book."

I love this little boy so much. He is getting so big and grown up. He has such a fun and entertaining personality. Happy third birthday buddy!
