We had a blast celebrating the last weekend of summer vacation in Bear Lake. It was the opening of the bow hunt that weekend, so we went Friday morning so Troy could checkout what he was going after on Saturday morning. We hung out and relaxed on the porch in the perfect weather while Troy went looking for deer with Jensen. Saturday morning he woke up before the sun to go hunting. He saw lighting but didn't hear any thunder so he figured he would be fine. I woke up around 5:30 to lighting and thunder. I was still halfway asleep until I realized that Troy was out hunting in the storm by himself! It got bad really fast and I started to freak out. The lighting and thunder was nonstop. I always seem to think worst case scenario:) I finally got ahold of him on his cell. He was in a spot that he hoped was safe sitting in the Ranger. He had to wait out the storm until he felt like it was safe to go back to the top of the mountain to get back to the cabin. It was a crazy never ending storm but he made it home safe and sound to a worried, not very happy with him for going in a storm, wife. The weather cleared up and we spent the day at the beach. Lots of swimming and playing in the sand. Sophie slept through most of it in her car seat. We spent Sunday afternoon at the park flying kites and walking down to the beach. Everybody except for us went home on Sunday. We stayed one more night so Troy could do a little more hunting. It was such a great weekend.

So fun...except for the scary thunderstorm experience. I can't believe how big Sophie is getting.
Check you out. :) LOVE the pic of Reese bouncing off the tube. Funny. Sophie is stinking adorable. I want to squeeze her.
