Lost and Found
So having to keep track of Reese's implant can be so much work. Imagine letting your two year old carry around something really small and really expensive at all times!!! I feel like all day long I am saying "Where is Reese's implant?" Monday we had to run to Target while Kenadee was at preschool. As we were getting out of the car I had put it back on her ear because it was hanging off. It works as long as it is attached to her head but it falls off easily when it is not on top of her ear. I carried her and Jensen into the store and then she got into the shopping cart. We proceeded to walk around the WHOLE store. She ended up getting out of the cart and was pretty good except for a few minutes when she ran crazy through the little girls section of clothes. When we were about done and ready to check out I felt like she was ignoring me so I checked to make sure her implant was on. Gone..... I start to panic and we retraced our steps through the whole store. I talked to customer service and no one had turned it in. I left my number for them and a description of what it looked like. I was thinking we would never find it because it could have stuck to anything metal in the entire store. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and it never turned up. Troy got home from work late and I had planned on doing a fun Valentines Day family home evening but it had been a bad day. We decided to go on a treasure hunt at Target. As we were walking in the store I said a little prayer out loud. We realized at that point that we should have prayed together as a family in the car before we went in. We told Kenadee that we needed to pray for help from Heavenly Father to be able to find Reese's implant, so she should say a prayer to herself. All of us were! We wandered through the store and when we got to the kids clothes I told Troy that she had been running around at this point. He had the thought that maybe if he got down on the ground he would be able to see something. I looked over to see him, and thought "oh gee you look like a weirdo crawling around on the floor." Then he decided to look underneath a shirt that was hanging low, touching the ground. There it was. Who knows how long it could have stayed hidden there. It was such a wonderful learning opportunity for all of us. Heavenly Father listens to our prayers. Even when they are small and simple. I don't think we would have found it there otherwise. It turned out to be a perfect family home evening.

I am so glad you found it. YOu just needed a little extra help. That turned out to be a pretty geat FHE.
I love when things like that happen because it is such a wonderful learning experience for our children. You are a good mom Tara! I remember telling my kids to pray for a lost binky because my baby wouldn't go to bed without it one night, Andy was out of town, I didn't want to drag them all to the store by myself to buy a new one, etc. We all prayed, I opened my eyes and it was sitting on top of Jonah's bed... I swear it hadn't been there 5 minutes before. Amazing... little miracles still happen! :)And the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I would have paid a fortune to see your husband crawling on Targets floor!! :) I am so glad you found the implant! Have a fantastic day!
Awe...I have goosebumps. That is awesome! I am so glad you found it!!
WOW! I can't imagine Trinitie having something like that and having to keep track of it and she's not near as "adventurous" as Reese. I too would have paid good money to see my brother crawling on the floor at Target!
AWWWW! What an AWESOME story! I am so glad you found it and that it turned out to be a great Family Home Evening! I too just got goosebumps!
