The birthday that she had been waiting for forever, finally arrived. This girl was so excited to turn eight. Her birthday morning she woke up to decorations and a candy bar poster from her siblings. I usually do balloons every year but I decided this will be the year of the candy bar poster and next year I will find something else. Got to keep em' guessing you know! She loved the poster, and Reese, Jensen, and I had fun picking out the candy for it. She wanted pancakes for breakfast so pancakes it was. She got a new birthday outfit but she had to wait until later to open the rest of her presents. She made a poster all about herself that she took to school to share with her class. Troy and I surprised her with Chick-Fil-A for lunch at school. Then I got to take treats to her class and talk about her poster with her. After school she had gymnastics, which I gave her the option of skipping but of course she wanted to go on her birthday. She came home to her favorite spaghetti dinner that she had requested. Then it was on to her presents. She was super excited to get her iPod shuffle. Loved her Justin Bieber pillow case. She is just an easy to please sweetheart and was super excited with all that we gave her. Maegen came over and gave her some great gifts for an eight year old including a super cute CTR ring and her own small size Children's Song book for primary. Britt and her kids came with more gifts including a Liv Doll, perfume, a Justin Bieber bear, and make-up. The night got better when Grandma and Grandpa Zaccardi showed up with a Justin Bieber game and calendar. Continuing with the JB theme we had cake and ice cream and hung out. She had a great day!
I cannot say enough good things about this girl. She is a sweetheart and such a good girl. She is a very good example and I get told all the time by her church teachers how sweet and smart she is. She has a good head on her shoulders about what is right and wrong. She is such a great big sister. She is so great with helping out with her brother and sisters. She is a great student and is a super fabulous reader. Her teacher adores her and calls her to be the babysitter of the class when she has to leave for a bit. Her nickname at school has become KJ because she has another Kennedy in her class. She is very lucky to have a whole neighborhood of girls that are her same age and they are such great girls. I do have to ask her to do her homework a million times before it gets done. She is a SLOW mover in the mornings. Getting her to clean up is still a pain in the butt sometimes and she still has enough drama queen in her to drive us nuts every so often.
