Happy Things

I couldn't fall asleep last night because I couldn't turn my brain off. I was thinking about too many sad things. I had to start thinking about happy things. I finally fell asleep feeling much better. My list of things that make me HAPPY:) 1-Last week after wiping Jensen's bum he made sure I knew he was grateful. He told me in his most sincere voice, "Thanks for wiping my butt mom." I loved it. In the 7 plus years that I have been wiping bums for my kids I have never been told thank you:) 2-Reese has a hard time staying in her bed all night. She usually ends up in bed with us sometime during the night. It always makes me laugh when she in her half asleep state remembers to grab all of the things she fell asleep with. It usually includes her fairy barbie and her wings and her favorite barbie movie. 3-Reese is so creative. The pictures that she brings home from school always make me happy. Two weeks ago after church she was eating pretzels at the table and made a butterfly out them all by herself. She loves to write her name with pretzels. Last week it was the measuring tape that she bent and shaped into the number 4. 4-In the morning I walk Kenadee to the corner and watch her walk down the street to her bus stop. She turns around at least four times every morning to wave or blow me a kiss. Makes my heart so happy. 5-The birthday cards that Kenadee gave me. One of them was a picture of Justing Bieber that she had colored. It said you love Justin Bieber and so do I. 6-Late night conversations with my hubby. We keep saying that we need to grow up and go to bed early but we don't. I love laying in bed at night and talking his ear off. 7-Date nights with the hubby. 8-Sewing. I am addicted. It is so fun and rewarding to create. So far I have made curtains, pillows for my couches, a quilt and sheet for baby girls bed. 9-Cadbury Mini Eggs.
