She also brought home cards for us that some of her friends at school had made. Pretty funny. Sure do love her. She is a thoughtful sweetheart! We celebrated with dinner at Texas Roadhouse and saw Moneyball after.
We contemplated going somewhere super fun to celebrate 10 years but with a newborn we decided to hold off until next year when I can leave her. So instead we dropped Jensen off at my mom and dad's for the weekend and Kenadee and Reese with Troy's sister. Then we headed to Salt Lake for the weekend. We stayed at The Hotel Monaco the first night. I have always wanted to stay there for some reason. It was fun and trendy and we loved the animal print robes.
Saturday morning we headed out to do some Christmas shopping. The day flew by and we got lots done and just had fun being together. We had planned on staying two nights at the Hotel Monaco but we decided to cancel our reservation and stay in the King Tower at Little America which is much better in my opinion.
Sophie was an angel the whole weekend. Sunday morning we ate the breakfast buffet at the hotel and then headed to pick up our other three kiddos.
On to Thanksgiving. It was our year in Bear Lake. Thursday morning Troy played football with Maegen's hubby in Brigham City and I drove up to the cabin with the kids. There was SO much snow in Bear Lake. We were able to drive most of the way to the cabin and then snowmobiled the rest of the way. Thanksgiving dinner was so yummy and the day was perfect besides Troy's football injury that made him an old man all weekend:) I think Jensen and Reese spent the whole weekend outside playing in the snow. I had fun hanging out with all my Hardy family. We headed home Saturday afternoon.
