Christmas Eve seems like so long ago. Sad that the Christmas season flies by so dang fast. We started the day out with our annual Christmas breakfast with Troy's dad and Maxine. It is a fun way to start out Christmas Eve. We ran to Hobby Lobby for a last minute gift and then we pretty much spent the rest of the day at home being lazy watching Christmas movies. We had our own dinner at home with a ham and lots of yummy, snacky foods. The kids were so excited to open Christmas pajamas. We watched a movie about the birth of Christ and left food for the reindeer. Oh yes, we left some treats for that Santa guy too. We checked the Santa tracker a few times to see if he was getting close and when he was it was time for bed. We have a fun tradition of bringing the kids mattresses into our bedroom and having a big sleepover. It is fun to sleep in the same room together and listen for Santa. It's also a good way to make sure no one sneaks out to see what Santa left before it is time!
