Christmas fun

We have been busy doing lots of fun Christmas activities. We made our chains to count down the days until Christmas....

We wrote letters to Santa that we left on the window for Santa's elves to come and get.....

We made gingerbread houses with Britt and Jer's family....

It has been a busy month so far. We have driven around and looked at lots of Christmas lights. Troy and I saw "It's a Wonderful Life". We went to Troy's Christmas party at The David O. McKay Center and because my mom had the girls overnight we went and saw Four Christmases after the party was over. It was not my favorite. We have listened to lots of Christmas music. Jensen and I went on an overnight Christmas shopping trip in Salt Lake this weekend with my mom and sisters. It was a blast. We hit The Gateway, South Town Mall, Target, Walmart, Olive Garden, Costa Vida, Pei Wei, and my sister's Drill Team competition at South Jordan High School. Troy stayed home with the girls and had a fun night. He went to our ward Christmas Party and took the Yummy Potatoes that he made himself. I have a good hubby. Last night we went roller skating. Kenadee went a couples weeks ago for a birthday party and had a blast so we decided to go as a family. Tons of fun except for the hoodlums that make me want to homeschool my kids. We are still hoping to make it up to Temple Square to see the lights, make Christmas candy and treats, and attend LOTS of Christmas parties. With all the craziness we have been trying to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and feel the Christmas spirit.
