Christmas

We had a wonderful but busy Christmas. It started on Christmas Eve morning at 8:00. We went to Breakfast with Troy's Dad and Maxine. After that we came home and got ready to go to the Baker Party in Payson. Came home got ready to go to the Zaccardi/Rainaldi Christmas Eve party. Then we came home and opened up our Christmas Eve jammies and read the girls the Christmas Story. That night we let the kids sleep in our room. One of my favorite traditions growing up was all of us squishing into one room and sleeping together on Christmas Eve. Jensen woke up first on Christmas morning to eat. Kenadee woke up at about 7:30 and then we had to wake up Reese. They were SOOOO excited. Reese saw her presents and let out a scream. Kenadee loved her Barbie Diamond Castle and Reese loved her Barbies. Jensen loved whatever we put in front of him. Troy surprised me with a new flat iron and the Jessica Simpson perfume I had been wanting. He got lots of clothes, a mini helicopter, and Monopoly. Troy made breakfast and then we had to be on our way. Our first stop was Heber and the drive there was HORRIBLE. We made it and had a yummy lunch. Then it was on to Brigham City. Another scary drive. We ate more good food and opened more presents. I think we were all exhausted by the time it was over. Friday morning we woke up and went to Breakfast at Denny's where we waited one hour and 45 minutes for our food. Lots of fun with kids let me tell you. We played in the snow and played games after the kids went to bed. If you were Troy and Jed you stayed up until 4:30 in the morning playing PlayStation. The next morning we headed home so the girls could finally play with all of their Christmas presents. They have been entertained for hours with all of their new Barbie stuff. Jensen is now five months old and he is sitting up all by himself. Everything he can get a hold of goes right to his mouth. I took him to the doctors today because he has been sick with Croup. He was 19 pounds 2 ounces. It has been nice to have nothing going on since Christmas. We have been lazy. Lots of naps have been taken, lots of reading, and movie watching. Kenadee has watched Mamma Mia so many times that I have lost count. I am dreading next week when everything is back to normal. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Happy New Year....

Warning: Millions of pictures ahead!

Looks like you had so much fun! BTW, I know this may sound weird and random, but it's not :) In the third picture down in your post where you are sitting with your girls, it looks like your hair is about chin length... at first I thought you cut it but then I saw it long later in your post.... but anyway, you would look so CUTE with short hair like that!! Just thought I'd let you know because you always said you wouldn't look good with short hair. You would look freakin awesome :) see ya next week!

Don't you just love running everywhere. I hope your girls handled it better than Ellie. What the heck are feeding that boy of yours? I need to know so I can make Jack grow!
