Conference Weekend

Over conference weekend we went to stay at my mom and dad's house. It was opening Goose Hunt so Troy was very excited. We had lots of fun. I did some hair, bought a new book, make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and just enjoyed spending time with my family. Saturday afternoon we drove up the Sardine canyon and into the campgrounds to pick leaves. Reese fell asleep so we picked some for her. Saturday night Troy and my dad went to the Priesthood session and then we headed home. Sunday we were LAZY. Comfy clothes, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate and laying around all day. My favorite talk was Elder Hollands. I loved his testimony of the Book of Mormon. It made me realize that I need to spend more time reading it. It also strengthened my testimony of Joseph Smith and all that he went through to restore the church and translate the Book of Mormon. I thought all of conference was wonderful and made me realize that I have lots of work to do.

This is what we did with the leaves.
