Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas. It came and went so fast, but it always does. Christmas Eve was not so great. We met Troy's dad and Max at IHOP with all the family for breakfast. Jensen decided to get a stomach bug of some sort and threw up all over the restaurant. Good times. It was still great to see everyone and the kids loved what grandma and grandpa Campbell gave them. The girls got Scentsy stuffed animals that hold a smelly packet in the back. They are SUPER cute and they make their bedroom smell amazing. Jensen got a fun track for his cars that he couldn't wait to get home and play with. We decided that we should probably keep Jensen home for the rest of the day so he didn't spread the germs to his cousins. Troy and the girls headed to Heber and Jensen and I stayed home. I cleaned the house and then we watched Ramona and Beezus. We had planned on going to another family party with the Zaccardi's and Rainaldi's that night so we didn't have anything planned for dinner. When Troy got home he went and got take-out and we hung out at home. Troy's mom stopped by and so did Maegen and Jed. Jensen was acting better by dinner and never got sick again. We ended the night by sprinkling magic reindeer food on the lawn, opening new jammies and reading the Nativity story from the scriptures.

I always have a hard time sleeping the night before Christmas. I swear I look at the clock every hour to see what time it is. I get so excited for the kids to wake up! The tradition is for everyone to sleep in our room so nobody can sneak out to see what Santa brought. Kenadee woke up a little after seven, and the other two not long after. They all remembered that it was Christmas. We got the camera and camcorder out and let them out. They were so fun this year. Seriously what is better than the excitement of your kids on Christmas morning! They all got excited about what they got and I think everyone was so happy with what they got from Santa.

Kenadee's favorites:
GoGo pup
Moxie Girl
Robe
Pillow Pet from grandma J.
Justin Bieber CD
Art stuff from Reese and Jensen

Reese's favorites:
Furreal Cat
Pink Barbie
Angelina Ballerina
Purple My Little Pony
Tinkerbell Tea Set

Jensen's favorites:
Buzz Lightyear (even though it quit working by the end of the day.)
Train
Cars. He got tons of cars and trucks from all the grandparents and he loves them all.
Army guys.
Remote control motorcycle from Grant.

Troy's favorite's
The awesome baseball glove I surprised him with.
His own garage door opener. He hasn't had one for a long time after his other one disappeared.
He is supposed to buy a Bow and Arrow for his Christmas/Graduation gift but he hasn't yet. He is indecisive:)

My goods. Loved the Kardashian Book and I was SOOOO excited to get my own KitchenAide. It was a great surprise.

We were super lazy for most of the day. It was one of the first Christmases that we didn't have to rush out the door to get somewhere. We loved it! The kids played with their stuff all morning and me and Troy took a nap. My family met at my mom and dad's house at 5 for dinner and more presents. We had such yummy food and had fun watching Brittney's mad skills on the Kinect dance game. It was a great Christmas!

What a Christmas! Their faces are priceless, they look so happy and excited. I love their jammies!
What do you do for reindeer food? Is it usually gone in the morning? Jensen needs to come play once we all get over these colds.
