Our Labor Day Weekend

Before you turn me in to social services, you have to know that the car was not turned on! We had a great Labor Day weekend. Friday night I went up to my in-laws for a girls night out with Trena, Nikki, Robyn, Mandy, and Aubrie. It was so much fun. We scrap booked, ate and acted like girls. Then Saturday we worked, or I should say Troy worked. We finally got our concrete poured on the side of our house and it looks great. Especially if you compare it to the patio in our backyard, but that is another story. Then that night we went out to Britt and Jer's with Cody and Brittney and played Troy's favorite game. It is called Cash Flow and I think it is the most boring game in the whole universe. Sorry babe. I was so glad that he found other people to play the game with him. The next day we decided to drive out to Yuba Lake. We had never been there before so we wanted to check it out. The farther south we got the darker the skies got. By the time we got there the skies had opened up and it was pouring. We sat in the car and watched a great lightning show and a couple of people on wave runners who I swear were going to get hit by lightning. The girls were sick of there car seats so we let them out and that is why Reese is up in the front window!! The rain slowed down for a minute so we ran down to the water and stuck our toes in. Kenadee couldn't understand why her mean parents, who didn't want her to get struck by lightning, wouldn't let her swim. Anyhow we could tell that the storm wasn't leaving so we decided to head home. It was a short trip but still fun. Next summer we want to go back for a camping trip, hopefully with better weather.
