What's been going on.

I haven't posted for awhile cause I haven't been in the blogging mood. We have a been busy finishing the basement and getting the backyard ready for a barbecue we had last weekend with some of the people that work with Troy. In between that Reese got a staph infection. Let me tell you how much fun that was. It started with a small cut on her elbow a few weeks ago. She kept hitting it and it got bigger and bigger. On Father's Day she had two scabby looking things on her arm that looked like she had been bitten by something. Monday and Tuesday she started getting them everywhere that her arm and elbow touched. By Wednesday I was convinced that she had the Chicken Pox so I took her to the doctors. I honestly had a melt down on the way home because I felt like the worst mother ever. I always thought that staph infections were pretty scary and dangerous. I was so freaked out and sick about it but after researching it online I felt a lot better. She has responded great to the antibiotics and a week later it is pretty much gone. I have finally gotten to the point were I am over being pregnant. I think I am starting to get pregnant nose and a swollen face. I have been having contractions like crazy which I never experienced with Kenadee or Reese. My doctor has scheduled my c-section for July 28th but I am going to try to talk him into the 23. Next week is my last week of hair appointments. I am ready to be done working. I love my clients and I love doing hair but I am ready for a break. It is going to be weird not having a salon in my house but I know it is the only way I will stop since I suck at saying no.

Anyhow that is a little bit of what we have been up to. We did go up American Fork Canyon last weekend to Cascade Springs. I made Hawaiian Haystacks and we had a picnic at the park after. Lots of fun.

That is so crazy, but how are you to know a cut is going to turn out to be something that crazy. Glad she is doing better, she is such a doll. Mountains looked fun too, we need to get up there more often.

Oh I am so sorry about Reese, but that doesn't mean you are a bad mom. Things like that just happen and you deal with it in the best way you can. I can't believe you are already almost done being pregnant. I miss you. Can't wait to see the new little one. Hope it is a BOY! Call me when you want to talk since you don't answer your phone.

Tara you are not a bad mom. I thought only old people got staph infections so that shows you how much I know. Glad she is doing better. I wish I was almost done being prego, this heat is killing me.
