Reese is THREE

Reese turned three on Saturday. We had a fun weekend full of parties. Saturday she was supposed to wait for Troy to come home from work before she could open presents. I was making her French Toast for breakfast and Kenadee came running into the kitchen to tell me that Reese was opening her presents. Luckily she only got a couple opened up before I stopped her. She loved everything she got. Clothes, swimming suit, sunglasses, flip flops, Thumbelina book, Thumbelina coloring book, Thumbelina doll. The trampoline was part of her birthday and we also re pierced her ears. The first ones came out. No tears this time and she loves them. After presents Troy took the girls to lunch and I went to buy her cake and balloons. Reese is obsessed with Barbie movies so of course Thumbelina was her party theme. She had a Thumbelina cake and we decorated with wildflowers and tissue paper flowers. (The movie is about a Twillerbee named Thumbelina who lives among the wildflowers.) Saturday night we had a BBQ with lots of the family. She got spoiled rotten. A new pool, Tinkerbell dress up, cute clothes, a barbie jeep for her barbies, barbie doll, money, Tinkerbell doll, coloring book, stickers, alphabet toy, princess camera, a tutu, flip flops, PJ sparkles doll. She was in heaven. Today we went to Target so she could spend some of her birthday money and what do you think she chose? Another Thumbelina doll from the movie! She had such a fun birthday.

Reese is 100% girl, although she is usually dirty. It is impossible to keep the girl clean. She has two baths almost every day. She is mostly potty trained. She sleeps through the night most of the time. We have bad nights every once in awhile. She is a pretty good eater but cottage cheese is definitely her favorite. If I would let her she would watch Barbie movies all day. She loves being outside. Her favorite color is pink. She is VERY stubborn. She likes to do everything her way. The only way to get her to cooperate is to give her a choice. She loves nursery and loves preschool. She has no problems leaving her mom and dad! Everyday with Reese is sooooooo much work. She likes to push my buttons. I think she has an agenda everyday to test me:) Love her to pieces though and glad she is mine. Happy Birthday Reese monkey!!!
