Kenadee-isms

So lately Kenadee has kept me on my toes. She has become a pack rat. She has secret hiding places all over my house where she hides all of her toys. The pantry, under my bed, under her blankets in her bed, my coat closet. It has become a daily thing and it is starting to make me a little crazy. Tonight we had the washer and dryer pulled out because our washer has quit on us. Before I can blink she has started hauling every single one of her barbie dolls into the space on the side of the dryer. The problem is that she never puts her stuff away. I think I need to start taking her toys away until she earns them back.

She also informed me on Thursday when I picked her up from school that she had a secret. Her secret was that she had hidden pretzels in her bag and taken them out at school to share with everyone. I am sure that Teacher Colleen loved that. I was telling Troy about it tonight and Kenadee says "Mom you know they loved it." Duh. She has also started making it a habit of praying for Santa to come every night. Troy and I have tried to tell her that it isn't something she should ask for but apparently she isn't getting it. Once again tonight she brought every barbie doll she owns into my bedroom so I had to take a picture. I decided that her Prince Antonio barbie is the man. He is the only boy barbie that she has. When Troy plays barbies with her he makes all the girl barbies fight over him. What a cool dad.
These are her "barbies of the moment. Giselle and Edward (aka Prince Antonio.)

That is nuts. She is funny. Kenna is such a pack-rat too, and it drives me insane! Hope you are feeling better!

It was so, so fun to see you and I'm glad you are starting to feel better! I swear this is how Daxton is going to be when he gets a little older. He loves to bring every toy out to the family room even if he doesn't play with it and it drives me crazy!

That is so cute! Lilly is a terrible pack rat. I think Alyssa is too. I keep hoping it is just a stage they are going through. Lucky Antonio! Hope that sickness is getting better. Call me sometime. We have so much to catch up on. I would love to talk to you!

Tara I fill your pain. Addy does the same thing only she hides it (like her lipstick) and can't find it. It drives me crazy. She also never puts anything away. I think that a good idea to take it away. I need to try it.
