Update
I thought I would give an update on the latest happenings with Reese. It has been a little over two months since her implant was activated and she is doing so well. She has started saying mama and she can make the ohh sound and ahhh. She responded to a knock on the door and she is always pointing to her ear like she is trying to tell us that she can hear. It is so awesome. Today we had another appointment with the audiologist and we did more testing in the booth. Her hearing is now testing at a normal level. (The same as what a hearing person hears at.) We were definitley not expecting that so we were so excited. We heard so many opionions in the beginning of all of this on whether or not we should do the implant. We have always known that it was the right thing to do, and I am so thankful that we had the oppurtunity to do it. She still has a long ways to go but today gave us so much to look forward to!

That is so exciting! I love to hear her talk it is amazing to see the changes. But I would like to see some new cute pictures of her on your blog. And you should post a video of her saying mama because it is so awesome I think everyone should hear it!!!

What a miracle! I am so happy! How does she react when you talk to her? I know the vacuum scares her, but does she understand what you guys say to her yet? I hope I don't sound dumb, I just don't know or see anything here in California. :)
